The Glory of Aging describes what the Bible says about aging and reveals that God has a special purpose for the aging process. It is written for persons over 50 and addresses the three stages of aging during this period of life. Although it realistically traces the physical decline in what researchers call the continuum of loss in the second half-century of life and the Bible describes, “though our outward man perish,” the spotlight blazes on the second part of that Biblical pronouncement-- “Yet the inward man is (being) renewed day by day!”

This contrast between the decline of the physical, outward person; and the growth and development of the spiritual, inward person forms the narrative of the book and formulates the challenge to each aging Christian to discover God’s glory of aging!
