Dear Friend of CLA,

The Christian Law Association strives to be a Christ-like friend to churches and pastors.  As our ministry counsels and defends church leaders under fire for serving the Lord, I cannot say thank you enough to our faithful CLA supporters for giving me this privilege.

The Bible says, “A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”  (Proverbs 17:17)  We often walk with faithful preachers through the most difficult trials of their ministry life.  When others question and criticize their Biblical stand, we stand beside them in their time of need.  When their “good is evil spoken of” we are there to help, counsel, and encourage; and our ministry is made possible by your faithful support.

CLA defends local churches and counsels these ministries free of charge.  As a ministry of helps to churches and Christians nation-wide, we provide legal services from a unique perspective based not only on sound legal principles, but also on the infallible Word of God.  When a church comes under legal attack, the financial cost to defend that ministry can quickly amount to more than it could possible afford.  Because God’s people faithfully support our efforts, our attorneys can be commissioned to vigorously defend the ministry without financial hindrances the church’s lack of finances would normally pose.

Through legal seminars, telephone counseling, and legal resources, CLA helps to prevent lawsuits for local churches.  The law applying to non-profit corporations and churches is constantly changing.  Our attorneys track these changes and counsel ministry leaders on the balance of obeying God and fulfilling the Biblical mandate to respect government authorities.

There can be no doubt that churches are legally under attack in the United States of America, and CLA is honored to serve churches in their hour of need.  At CLA, we work every day to defend Bible-believing churches and Christians and to encourage them to stand for what is Biblically right in our increasingly wicked culture.  Your expression of support through prayer and financial contributions gives you a vital part in preserving the Biblical faith.
