It’s All About Jesus!

The question has often been asked, "Exactly what is Christmas all about?" Is it the decorations, shopping, gifts and special dinners, or it is something more? Are we simply following the traditions and customs that make for an exciting, fun filled holiday?



Of course, as Christians we all know the right answer--the celebration of Christmas is ALL about Jesus! While we do not know the exact date of the birth of the Savior, as Christians, we have decided to set aside this special day to rejoice and remember the coming of the Lord Jesus. We certainly have reason to celebrate, don't we?



Yet often, some Christians enjoy their holiday traditions and allow the true meaning of the season to recede. As we rush through the busy schedule of fun and celebrating, we forget what really matters. We have all had times where we are so focused on all we must accomplish that we muddle our priorities. When this happens we must take a break in all of the busyness and ask a question. Is there any room in the celebration this year for Jesus, or has He been crowded out by all of the parties and presents?



According to the National Retail Federation, each year over $400 billion is spent during the holiday season. Statistics tell us that even in this challenging economy, up to 40 percent of annual retail receipts come from holiday shopping in November and December. Yet, many churches and ministries find that donations during those same two months of the year are lower than the remaining ten. Are our priorities off? Are we truly celebrating Jesus' birth or something else?



While there is nothing wrong with enjoying your family and treasured traditions, we must remember that He is to be the center of all we do and the reason we celebrate at all. It's all about Him.



Perhaps this year you might choose to refocus your holiday giving and keep a proper perspective in spending. Take time to pray and thank God for sending the greatest Gift of all, the precious Lord Jesus. We all believe in our hearts that it is all about Him. Let's make sure we demonstrate it in our lives this Christmas!

This has been a wonderful year at Christian Law Association. We have helped thousands of individuals and ministries as they were faced with legal issues. It has been our honor to serve the Lord in each and every situation that came into our ministry. We praise God for every victory and success!



We pray that during this busy season of family times and celebrations that you experience the true joy of Jesus and perfect peace as we celebrate His birth! This past year by God's grace and through the prayers and sacrificial giving of so many, CLA was able to help thousands of individuals, pastors, churches and ministries across the nation with legal cases, questions, issues and conflicts.



In 2012, we have helped many new ministries begin by assisting them legally in the formation of their ministry. It's a high privilege of CLA to partner along side of the up and coming ministries and get them started with the right legal documentation and establish sound legal guidelines for ministry success. We were able to help so many at no cost thanks to the giving of our friends like you.



There have been many doors opened for churches to build and grow! While some focus on the closed doors or declines in religious activity, we are helping churches expand their outreach by clearing the legal hurdles that would prevent them from expanding. What a joy and honor to see doors open and opposition overcome so that ministry can be accomplished and lives can be changed! We are seeing great success in helping churches follow God's mission. As souls are won to Christ in these ministries, our supporters have a part in the eternal reward God gives to those who win the lost.



While new churches and ministries and additional buildings and land get noticed, we are also rejoicing over a quieter victory. It is the triumph of seeing God's direction as we walked along side of many pastors who have been challenged with legal matters in the ministry. These servants of God have faced diverse challenges. Yet, because of your financial sacrifice, CLA was able to stand with them, free of charge. CLA was able to legally assist them and allow these ministers and the work of God to go forward!



Although there are an overwhelming number of negative things happening in our world, please remember, we are seeing great victories happen here every day because of God's blessing as you stand with us through your prayers and financial support.
